Abstract Submission Guidelines

The last date of Abstract Submission is 14th August 2024

Oral/E- Poster presentations are invited from Clinical ART, Reproductive Surgery, Embryology, Miscellaneous.

Please observe the following while preparing the submission of your abstract in order for it to be accepted:
  • Abstract submission is to be submitted online ONLY. No other mode will be accepted
  • The abstract should be in English and typed in New Times Roman with
    • Title size of 12.
    • Authors & Institutions name in font 11.
    • Text in font 10.
  • For word count and sections follow the table 1 given below
  • Abbreviations can be used after defining them first.
  • Abstract title. Do not use capital letters, and do not indent.
  • List the authors. The name of the first author listed will be the presenting author. Do not include professional titles or degrees.
  • Prepare a minimum of at least two and maximum five keywords.
  • The author should give a declaration of his/her age
  • You can send it in the most appropriate themes given below
    • Clinical ART
    • Reproductive Surgery
    • Embryology
    • Miscellaneous

Note

  • Abstract submitted oral presentation may be granted poster presentation depending on the number of papers received.
  • Submitted abstracts will go through scrutiny by the scientific committee and the committee reserves the right to accept or reject a paper.
  • The time allowed for oral presentation will be 8 minutes followed by 2 minutes of discussion.
  • The organizing committee reserves the right to reproduce the presentations made during the conference to print or use in electronic media.

E-Poster Submission Guidelines

The poster should be in “English” and typed in “New Times Roman” with Title font size of 12, Authors and Institutions' name in font 11 and Text in font 12. The E-Poster should be structured as

  • The word count and sections in Table 1 are to be followed in poster also
  • E Posters should be made in a single power point slide which must be converted to PDF format. The slide should be in landscape (horizontal) mode in a ratio of 16:9
  • The poster will be displayed as you have submitted it via email hence you are requested to submit it in the above format only for the purpose of symmetry in the online platform. Do not submit word files, png, or jpeg files.
  • Once you have made the E-poster slide, upload it to the abstract submission portal.
  • The E posters will be judged as per individual schedule between 8.00am - 9.00am on 15th September 2024.

Note

  • In case the presenting author is unable to attend the conference, the second author may be allowed to present the paper in exceptional circumstances only. The second author in that case has to register for the conference.
  • Abstract submission is to be submitted Online Only. No other mode will be accepted
  • The prizes for best paper would be given in valedictory function on 15th September 2024.
  • The abstract will not be accepted without completed registration for the conference. At submission, the content of the abstracts should be:
    • Original, unpublished or original material that has been accepted for publication, but which is not due to be published at least 3 months before the start of the Annual Conference.
    • Original material that has not been previously presented at any International/National meeting in the Prizes will be given for Best Oral and E- Poster presentation, this will be announced during the valedictory ceremony on 15th September 2024.

Registration is Mandatory to submit and present abstract

Please note that all presenting authors must register for the conference. If you have not yet registered for the conference you can do so immediately. Those abstracts where the presenting author has not registered by 14th August, 2024 for the conference will be considered cancelled.

Submitting the abstract for FUSION 2024 the presenting author confirm the following

  • I confirm that I previewed this abstract and that all information is correct. I accept that the content of this abstract will be published as submitted.
  • Submission of the abstract constitutes the consent of all authors to publication (e.g. Conference website, Fertility Science and Research Journal, other promotions, etc.)
  • The Abstract Submitter warrants and represents that no part of the information and content provided by him/her, nor the publication of any such Content by the Organizers, on the internet or otherwise infringes any third party rights, including but not limited to privacy rights and/or intellectual property rights.
  • I herewith confirm that the contact details saved in this system are those of the presenting author, who will be notified about the status of the abstract. The presenting author is responsible for informing the other authors about the status of the abstract. The submitting author may request to be copied on abstract correspondence.
  • I understand that the presenting author must be a registered participant.
  • The Organizers reserve the right to remove from publication and/or presentation an abstract which does not comply with the above.
  • I understand that I must select a specific Theme for my abstract allocation. Although the Committee will work hard to honor this selection, this cannot be guaranteed. The Committee reserves the right to change the Theme, Topic or Sub-Topic under which the abstract was originally submitted.
  • By submitting your abstract, you give your consent to have your presentation online as part of the Fusion 2024 programme and later on as a part of online educational platform
  • Your consent with the above terms and conditions does not affect your ownership of your presentation or your materials.
  • Authors of the abstract: grant to the Publisher of Fertility Science and Research a non-exclusive license shared only with IFS to when selected for presentation at the Fusion Annual Meeting-publish the Abstracts as part of the Supplement to Fertility Science and Research and the rights to distribute it and/or communicate it to the public within the Supplement on its own or with other related material throughout the world in printed, electronic or any other format or medium now known or hereafter developed make translations of the Abstracts and distribute them to the public. The Authors name land biographical information in and on the Supplement or any portion thereof and in on any advertising publicity and promotional materials used to make the Supplement or any portion thereof. Furthermore, Authors confirm having obtained copyright permissions for all third-party material in addition to the content submitted by the Author contained in the supplement including without intimation textual extracts or illustrations, photographs, maps diagrams, and tables. We also consent to links of video presentation of paper on IFS website and Fertility science and research journal online version as conference proceedings.
